| BACKGROUND |
| Most of us have experienced the exhilaration of working in a high performance team. The mutual support and high commitment led to results that exceeded everyone’s expectations. Most of us have also been members of teams that did not succeed. While we might be able to point to specific things that contributed to the success or failure of specific teams, we need a real world model that we can use to assure success in every new team situation. With this model, we can predict our team’s performance and make proactive adjustments to keep our team on the path towards success. Once we have this model, we can test it using our past team experiences as well as varied team simulations.
In this course, participants learn the different types of teams and team performances. They will understand why high performance teams are so successful. They will learn a simple model to use to ensure team success. Participants will test this model in several team simulations.
When designing this course, I made sure participants recalled and shared their past team experiences. By applying the high performance team model to their past experiences they generate important insights as to why their teams succeeded or failed. In future teams, participants will know precisely what needs to be done to achieve superior results.
This course is different from the “touchy feely” type courses which use inspiration and sports type challenges to mould team character. This course focuses on achieving exceptional results in real world teamwork. |

| PAST SUCCESS |
| We have developed and delivered this course for two banks, a law firm, a trading company and a petroleum company. In all cases the results were excellent. |
| |
| CONCLUSION |
| While teams can produce more than the sum output of the members working individually, there is a very wide range for this exceptional output. In this course, participants will understand how very high levels of performance are achieved and know what actions to take to raise team performance.
This course is best delivered as an in-house program so participants, as a group, can practice their new skills in harmony in the work place. |
